A Landmark MFA Exhibition at JDA Perera Gallery
The Master of Fine Arts Degree Show 2025 of the University of Kelaniya showcased the artistic achievements of 31 postgraduate students. Held under the patronage of the Vice-Chancellor, the exhibition brought together a diverse collection of contemporary Sri Lankan art. From late June to early July 2025, visitors experienced bold explorations of identity, culture, and creativity that reflected the future of Sri Lanka’s fine arts.

Among the featured artists, my stood out with works shaped by my extensive journey in contemporary art. With years of experience in both Sri Lanka and international exhibitions, she brought a unique voice that blends memory, cultural heritage, and innovation. Her participation in the MFA Degree Show reflects her continued growth as a practicing artist—transforming research into meaningful creative expressions that resonate with both local and global audiences.
