Young Contemporaries 2025 Emerging Artistic Voices – George Keyt Foundation

The George Keyt Foundation’s Young Contemporaries 2025 celebrated the vibrancy and innovation of emerging artistic talent in Sri Lanka. The exhibition provided a dynamic platform for young artists to present works across painting, sculpture, mixed media, and conceptual art, reflecting the evolving landscape of contemporary visual expression.

 

Among the featured artists, I contributed works that exemplify my exploration of memory, identity, and emotional resilience. My participation bridged her extensive experience in international exhibitions with the fresh energy of Sri Lanka’s emerging art scene. Through my pieces, audiences were invited to engage with both personal and universal narratives, experiencing the nuanced interplay of tradition, modernity, and creative experimentation.

The Master of Fine Arts Degree Show 2025 MFA Showcase 2025

The Master of Fine Arts Degree Show 2025 of the University of Kelaniya marked a defining moment in the Sri Lankan art calendar. Staged at the JDA Perera Gallery, one of Colombo’s most prestigious art spaces, the exhibition highlighted the vision and achievement of 31 postgraduate students completing their MFA. Held under the esteemed patronage of the university’s Vice-Chancellor, the show brought together an eclectic mix of painting, sculpture, mixed media, installation, and conceptual works.

Across its duration from late June to early July 2025, the exhibition offered audiences a rare insight into the evolving landscape of Sri Lankan contemporary art. Themes of identity, cultural memory, heritage, globalization, and personal narratives intertwined to create a vibrant tapestry—demonstrating the dynamic future of fine arts in the country.

Global Dialogues – Sielecki Castle, PolandInternational Visual Art Exhibition 2025

The International Visual Art Exhibition 2025, held at the historic Sielecki Castle in Sosnowiec, Poland, brought together 120 artists from multiple countries in a remarkable celebration of creativity and cultural exchange. Organized by the Beriboy Art Gallery, the exhibition presented a wide spectrum of artistic practices, from painting and sculpture to experimental media, creating a vibrant space for dialogue across borders.

Among the participating artists, me represented Sri Lanka with works that reflected her exploration of cultural memory, resilience, and contemporary identity. My contribution highlighted not only my established presence in international exhibitions but also my ability to connect personal experience with universal themes. Audiences encountered in my work a fusion of tradition and innovation, marking my voice as an important part of this global artistic gathering.

Voghera Gallery, Italy (2025)International Group Art Exhibition

The Voghera Gallery in Italy will host a distinguished international group exhibition from 11 to 18 May 2025, featuring 48 artists from 22 nationalities. This gathering celebrates global creativity, offering audiences the opportunity to encounter diverse perspectives through contemporary visual expression.

For me, participation in this exhibition is a cherished milestone and a moment of deep gratitude. Reflecting on the journey, she extends heartfelt thanks to Monica Ferrera for the invaluable support that made this opportunity possible.
