Young Contemporaries 2025 – Barefoot Gallery, Colombo
The George Keyt Foundation proudly presented Young Contemporaries 2025 at Barefoot Gallery, Colombo, from 24–28 September, celebrating twelve exceptional emerging Sri Lankan artists. A cornerstone of the Foundation’s 35-year legacy, the exhibition highlighted diverse practices ranging from painting and sculpture to experimental photography and multimedia installations.






Sudarshi Ranabahu’s Artistic Contribution
Among the selected artists was me, whose works explored themes of memory, cultural heritage, and resilience. With an extensive record of international exhibitions, my contribution brought depth and global resonance to the showcase, standing alongside Sri Lanka’s most promising young talents.
The exhibition featured artist-led walkthroughs, conversations, and the presentation of the ‘Young Contemporary 2025 Award’, underscoring the Foundation’s mission to nurture creativity and foster connections between artists and audiences.
